Hello, I’m Mariana Whittle
My brand is named after my family-Whittled Silver.
Long before I learned to silversmith, I was drawn to turquoise and silver jewelry. I spent years admiring handmade pieces, studying their details, and saving up for the ones I couldn't bear to leave behind. Now, I'm the one at the bench. I love the process of 'whittling' down raw metal—shaping, filing, and refining silver until it becomes a home for beautiful stones, gems, and pearls.
Living in LA, life can feel like a constant wall of sound. My jewelry desk is where that noise finally stops. When I put on my headphones and pick up my torch, the city fades away. I'm deeply intentional about what I set in my silver, sourcing my turquoise and stones from independent lapidaries and small-scale stone cutters. I want to know the hands that shaped the stone before it ever reaches mine.
I make these pieces so you can feel a bit more like yourself, and a bit more connected to the nature around you.

My Workshop
What began as a passion project has evolved into something truly meaningful. I am completely hooked on the creative process and love sharing my growth and creations with you. Building this supportive community allows me to keep investing in my craft and exploring new techniques.
With every stone sourced and design sketched, there is always more work to be done. But as long as I find joy in the pieces I create, I am incredibly excited to keep connecting with individuals who share and support my passion.

My designs are inspired by the unique stones I source. I typically enjoy hand-sketching designs before beginning to work with silver.
Future growth
While I currently work exclusively in silver, I plan to expand my craft in time to incorporate gold and more high-quality stones into my future collections.
